Lexus IS 350C

Lovers looking to offer more customization options, Lexus Car project will take several SEMA Show next week in Las Vegas, including an IS 350C prepared in cooperation with VIP Auto Salon.

The Japanese car specialist began with a unique paint job chameleon that changes color when viewed from different angles. The hardtop convertible Lexus also gets a Seibon carbon fiber hood, aerodynamic kit comprises a front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser, rear hatch spoiler, lights and ornaments.

The IS 350C rides on a lowered suspension with Bilstein shock absorbers and a set of tires 19 inch forged aluminum wrapped chunky Michelin tires.

However, the most important performance modifications are under the hood, where VIP Auto Salon closed by a compressor and a sports exhaust system, which along with the ECU upgrade pushed output to 386 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 372 lb-ft at 5,200 rpm.

2012 Lexus IS-F

Following the recent announcement about the IS-F 2012 in Europe, Lexus has released details of soft updates the series to the U.S. market.

The three repeats of the IS series, including the sedan, convertible and high performance IS-F, remained virtually unchanged for the new model year as improvements are limited to the color characteristics and equipment.

More specifically, the IS sedan receive a palette of pink, pearl gray and hazy smoky granite mica replaces Agate Fire and Frost Mica Glacier Pearl replaces, while the IS convertible, pearl gray exterior nebula replaces smoky granite mica.

Both the sedan and hardtop convertible are offered with a 2.5-liter V6 engine that produces 204 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 185 lb-ft of torque at 4,800 rpm, and a 3.5-liter V6 delivers a more powerful 306 hp power at 6,400 rpm and 277 lb-ft of torque at 4,800 rpm.

Finally, after obtaining an updated suspension last year, the IS F 2012 receives a new, larger 19-inch forged wheel design, plus a brand new red leather-trim seats replacing orange combination / Black and the theme of interiors.

The IS F is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine offering 416 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and 371 lb-ft of torque at 5,200 rpm, connected to a gearbox eight-speed Sport Direct Change.

2013 Lexus GS

As reported a couple of months ago, the new GS 350 2013 is the next model of Lexus is offered with the F-Sport package for the brand that you do a lot of aerodynamic parts with an improved chassis and various products of the interior .

The new 2013 GS 350 F Sport will make its first public appearance in the States in the 2011 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) that takes place in Las Vegas from Nov. 1 through 4.

Outside, the F-Sport is adorned with a complete set that includes a new streamlined front bumper reinforced with larger air intakes, a rear bumper with a modified diffuser, rear spoiler lip, grille mesh inserts only and special logo.

In the rear-drive model, the car is complete with exterior alloy wheels shod in 235/40/19 19 inch front and 265/35/19 rear tires, which the company is the largest ever to be used in factory Lexus sedan. A four-wheel drive models are combined with all-season tires 235/40/19 in the front and rear.

Unique in the F Sport Package will be two new colors, a Riviera with red glass flakes embedded in the coating liquid and platinum. Other color options include Starfire Pearl, pearl gray and hazy black obsidian.

Inside, the Sport Package adds F treatment design as smooth aluminum knurled finish, perforated leather optional special finish Cabernet red, black roof, aluminum pedals and brand logos.

In addition, the driver receives a new 16-seat power sport that includes a Lexus-first with the side bolsters power thigh support, adjustable backrest and four-way lumbar.

While the F Sport Package 306hp V6 engine out of the 3.5-liter virgin, which improves the chassis of the 350 GS, with a sport-tuned Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), thicker stabilizer bars, changes in hub and new larger front brakes with high friction pads.

As an option, buyers can also meet their F Sport GS with a new Lexus managing dynamic (LDH) in the four-wheel steering system that monitors vehicle speed and the speed, steering angle and speed, and G lateral to calculate the required direction of the rear wheel input to a maximum angle of 2.0 degrees DRS.

Lexus says that at most speeds below 50 mph (80km / h), the front and rear wheels turn in opposite directions, but in certain conditions, at speeds over 50 mph, the front and rear wheels rotating in the same direction.

Lexus LF-LC Sports Coupe Concept

We've been waiting for a while for Lexus to fully reveal its new LF-LC sports coupe concept and the wraps finally came off today at the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

The LF-LC concept's primary role is to showcase the future design direction for Lexus though we secretly hope that it could also lay the foundation for a production sports coupe.

While the Japanese company provides a ton of information on the styling details, the only piece of information we get about the concept's hardware is that it sports a front-mounted engine with an Advanced Lexus Hybrid Drive that powers the rear wheels.

“The concept we’re showing here in Detroit continues the Lexus design revolution started with the CT and GS,” said Mark Templin, Lexus group vice president and general manager. “The concept hybrid 2+2 liberates the idea of a sport coupe and pushes the boundaries of performance, style and technology," he added.

The Detroit Motor Show car is the creation of the firm's Calty design studio in Newport Beach, California. “The LF-LC concept embodies our vision of what a premium sport coupe could be," explains Kevin Hunter, president of Calty.

On the outside, the hybrid coupe borrows several styling cues from recent Lexus models like the new GS's framed front grille and the LFA supercar's profile lines for a not so far from production look.

The interior, on the other hand, is far more futuristic both in terms of design and high-tech features such as the twin 12.3-inch LCD touchscreens. Smaller touch-screens can be found on each door that operate the windows, mirrors, seat adjustments and personal entertainment settings.
